 Team Sarcoma's Cycle Zydeco bike tour for Sarcoma Research

The 200-mile, 4-day Cycle Zydeco bike tour (April 10-13^th in Louisiana) isn't a tour designed to raise funds for a specific cause.  But, you can turn our participation in it into one.  Liddy has a rare cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma. Ewing's sarcoma is one of 50 or so sarcomas.  Sarcomas can arise in the connective tissue of the body such as the fat, blood vessels, and nerves and in the bones. Liddy's cancer arose in one of the nerves in her leg.  About 1% of the new cancers diagnosed this year will be sarcomas.  Since these cancers are rare, sarcoma-related research is under funded. Liddy has a goal of raising money for sarcoma research (and raising awareness of sarcomas and young adults in clinical trials). 

Liddy and some of her family and friends are dedicating their Cycle Zydeco ride to raising money for the Columbia Cancer Center. 100% of the money raised will go directly into research on sarcomas.  Your donation will be 100% tax deductible.  By signing this form and sending in your check you are “sponsoring” one or more riders, who will be biking along with Liddy specifically to raise funds for sarcoma research.  Print out and fill in as many of these forms as you need; please write or print legibly.  Many employers “match” their employee’s contributions to events such as this.  Please check with your employer to see if it does and if so follow whatever procedures it requires.
